Court Proceedings
Court is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m.
The Town of Ovid Justice Court presides over vehicle and traffic matters, criminal, civil, environmental, town law and small claim cases occurring within the Town of Ovid.
Town justices have jurisdiction in criminal and civil matters, and in special proceedings as
conferred by law (Town Law, Section 31; Uniform Justice Court Act).
