Proposed Local Law No. A (Intro) of the Year 2026
Town of Ovid, County of Seneca, State of New York
A local law repealing Local Law E (Intro) of the Year 2025 (Secretary of State: Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2025)
Please take Notice that that the Town Board of the Town of Ovid will hold a public hearing on the following proposed Local Law at the Papa Bear (Old Courthouse) Building, Three Bears Complex, 7175 North Main St, Ovid, NY 14521, at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th day of March, 2026:
A local law repealing Local Law E (Intro) of the Year 2025 (Secretary of State: Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2025)
Section 1. Local Law E (Intro) of the Year 2025 (Secretary of State: Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2025), which local law was duly passed by the Town Board on October 8, 2025, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 2. This local law shall be effective upon its filing with the Secretary of State.
Please take further notice, that at such time all persons interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law shall be heard concerning same.
Please take further notice, that the complete text of the proposed local law is available during normal business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town of Ovid and at the Ovid Firehouse, 2136 Brown St, Ovid, NY 14521 and will be posted on the town’s website: https://townofovidny.gov/ at least five days prior to the time of the public hearing.
